Extra-Curricular Programs

We offer a number of programs which are conducted during school time, managed and taught by external organisations. These vary from time to time, some are available to selected students only.

Health and Physical Education

At North Cottesloe Primary School students engage in swimming, ball sports, athletics and dance through the Physical Education (PE) Program, which is aligned with the WA Curriculum.

The Sports Program emphasises participation, fun and striving to achieve your best. The school was successful in 2015, 2016 & 2017 in applying for Sporting Schools grants through which partnerships were established with Athletics WA, Badminton WA, Golf WA and Volleyball WA. This resulted in specialised coaching in these areas.

Since North Cottesloe has grown in numbers, a parent/school Sports Committee has formed. The committee works in conjunction with the PE teacher and School Administration to ensure sport at North Cottesloe is well organised and maximises participation for all children.
